The E-Dong Cable Stayed Bridge is located in Huanggang city, Hubei Province, China, and crosses the Changjiang river. It has a main span of 926m and side spans of 275m, making it the third longest cable stayed bridge in the world. DLT were awarded the sub-contract by Second Highway Engineering Bureau to design a pair of 280 tonne capacity deck erection gantries to erect steel orthotropic deck segments weighing up to 369 tonnes each on one half of the main span. These gantries were deisgned for maximum re-use on future projects. The other half of the deck was erected by Second Navigation re-using the deck erection gantries we supplied to them for the Sutong Bridge
